Get a notarized letter from your mom allowing you to drive
E
''her'' car. That should shut them up at pass & registration.

The easiest solution would probably be to have your name added
Pancake
to the title.

Simply have your name added, with an AND clause (as opposed to an OR

clause). This makes you a co-owner, and is enough to allow the base to

issue you a base decal.

In addition, it will prevent any possible problems in case you are ever
pulled over or in an accident. Driving a car that is not registered to
you can often cause problems, especially in smaller towns.

The best way to find the answer to this question is to go to
cuddybubble
the building where you register the vehicle- either on base, or at a gate.

The people who work there will be able to give you a definite answer. If

your name is also on the vehicle registration, you shouldn't have any

problem with it. In addition, to register your vehicle, you will need a

military ID card (or in your case, a dependent is ID card) or you will
need your Husband to accompany you to the registration office.

As longas you have orders and prof of insurance you can
Cabbage Patch

We are at Shaw AFB and when we married it was a piece of cake
Suga Honey
to get DoD stickers for my car. I was in the same situation. My mom

with no problem. I don't know if the guy who did it was just a slacker or

just go up there and try. Good Luck!

I don't think so if it is in her name. When you get the
cookie crisp
stickers for base they ask for registration and everything. They may need

some other type of paperwork to prove that the car still belongs to you

and you are the one making payments.

It could just be that the guy who was doing my paperwork was having a bad

Yes, but you are most likely going to have to get something

written from your mother.

Just call up the office that takes care of that and ask them. They will
