force cold air up through floor registers in the floors of the 1st floor.
Does not cool air drop?Hot air rise?Would the second
contractor is suggestion be feasible, as it would force cold air into the
first floor in an upward direction?

least 14 seer).I would also recommend a variable speed air handler as it
can save you money in the long run.Make sure they put in a secondary drain
line in case the other gets clogged.I have had central ac installed
recently,with duct work also.I have a 2 story 3 bedroom house,I got a
Lennox unit with a variable speed air handler,15 seer rating on each &
paid 11,500.
