When the DVM inspects your car would they say something about having a cold air intake

l have an acura rsx-s and it has Washington plates im trying to register

them in california. they dmv said they are going to inspect the car see if

there is any stolen parts. l have a cold air intake on it. would they say

well it depends. the one thing they are going to look for in ur

intake is a CARB sticker. these are stickers that tell the dmv that that

intake is ok for california emissions. if ur intake doesnt have this then

you pretty much have to take that off & put in the stock one for when you

do ur inspection. i would check the manufacturers website or contact them

to see if they are CARB approved.  
 
edit:  
i see that you passed smog already then youre probably fine because thats  
one thing the smog checkers look at.now just check all ur VIN numbers &  
see if they match because if they don't, DMV is probably going to think
